Below is a selection of work in progress illustrations from my current personal project; A collection of cautionary short horror stories for children - written and illustrated by myself.
The environments play a huge part in creating the right atmosphere for each page, so as much attention has been paid to the backgrounds as the characters, especially regarding the lighting, camera angle and perspective choices.
